Lilo and Stitch Clothings
A definite highlight of Disney’s post-animation renaissance era, Lilo and Stitch is an engaging animated film with a surprisingly strong message. It focuses on how the lonely little girl and her mischievous dog can make a family of their own despite the odds. The movie also esteems teamwork by having several characters band together to thwart a bad guy and rebuild their leveled abode. Hawaiian culture is portrayed with affection, and the film is funny, charming and heartwarming.
The series isn’t perfect, however. It’s often repetitive because each episode tends to focus on one of the experiments. It’s also disappointing that the writers seem to forget that Nani isn’t just Lilo’s legal guardian, but her big sister as well. She’s always trying to be a good sister, yet there are times when the show needslessly takes her out of character.
Despite these flaws, it’s a great animated show to watch with your kids. The characters don’t look as rounded as in the movie, and the animation sometimes struggles with brightness issues. Still, it’s a lot better than the previous TV show based on the movie.
The original movie is a great film for everyone, and the TV show is a fun way to see more of the adventures of this alien and his newfound ohana. There are a few other films in the franchise, too, including Stitch! and Stitch & Ai. There’s even a live-action adaptation in the works. Lilo and Stitch Clothings
